THE CHALLENGE: Unmodern Industries skate shop needed a merch design for a women and femme-forward skateboarding event that fostered a sense of inclusivity, community, and empowerment. The challenge was to create designs that resonated with this specific audience while embodying the event's mission of providing a safe space for women in skateboarding. Additionally, the merch had to reflect the event's charitable component, where a portion of proceeds supported the "Women's and Children's Crisis Center" in Whittier, CA.

THE SOLUTION: I designed merch that captured the spirit of inclusivity and empowerment central to the women and femme-forward skateboarding event. Drawing on my experience with girl skate nights, I crafted illustrations that celebrated the community and promoted a safe, welcoming environment. The designs were not only visually striking but also aligned with the event’s charitable cause, contributing to its message of support and solidarity. Deliverables included custom illustrations and merch design that helped make the event more impactful.
